Reading Note:

  • After Arjuna wins Draupadi, she regretted not choosing Karna, but soon she told herself that it was her destiny. She was satisfied and looked forward.
  • Draupadi thinks that Kunti regarded her as her adversary.
  • Kunti made all her sons marry Draupadi.
  • Draupadi secretly admired Kunti.
  • She missed Karna.
  • Sahadev, years later, told Draupadi the story of the lac palace.
  • In the book, it was Vyasa that made a code of conduct for the marriage of the Pandavas and not Narayana, if I remember.
  • Yudhishthira was the first husband of Draupadi.
  • Draupadi grew a liking to Bhishma, in a very respectful way (in the start.)
  • The Pandavas moved to Hastinapura.
  • Draupadi still thought about Karna.
  • Later, Bhishma made Draupadi uncomfortable.
  • Pandavas longed for to be cherished.
  • Draupadi saw a gold-adorned child on the river.  The river showed her a memory of Karna.
  • Draupadi took a walk with Bhishma and started to understand him better.
  • Yudhishthira was given Khandav.
  • They left Kunti behind in Hastinapura.
  • Draupadi thought of Karna again but she realized what was happening was best for her.
